Dulwich Lighting’s
design philosophy not only represents high aesthetic integrity
but a project-wide service that ensures success across the
following areas:
|
|
|
Aesthetics - A strong,
acquired understanding of the medium of light is central
to any lighting project. Yet the Lighting Aesthetic cannot
stand-alone; light must service human needs and commercial
demands. Light must be an integral component of any design
scheme, not only illuminating space and time, but providing
the means to comment, establish mood, and celebrate.
|
|
|
Technical
- Supporting the Lighting Aesthetic lies a sound knowledge
of lamps and luminaries; materials and control techniques;
production and installation methods. An independent practice,
with no commitment to any manufacturer or supplier, Dulwich
Lighting can develop and specify the most suited and innovative
solutions available
|
|
|
Project
- A strong design must be supported by the presentation
of practical costs. It must also be acknowledged that such
costs do not end at the production or installation stages.
Dulwich Lighting ensures that any design will support future
expansion; dealing with issues such as management of resources,
running costs, certification and maintenance.
|
|
|
Client - Client needs
are central to any scheme; lighting requirements are often
dynamic, with the daily needs of the end-user changing through
the life of the scheme. The design scheme must provide the
client with the necessary flexibility whilst providing a
firm base for future expansion.
