Matthew Haskins - Project Designer
 

Matt attained a BA Hons in Lighting Design at Rose Bruford College. He has been responsible for designing architectural schemes for site-specific interactive installations (ECOS Stones, Frome), whist researching interactive theatre through specially devised dance. Since joining Equation, Matt has worked on a number of bespoke projects, both designing and managing for the company. Highlights include industrial development work for Virgin Atlantic's A340-600 Upper Class lighting scheme; numerous mock-ups for the sister company Equation Lighting Design and the lighting management of ‘Phaedra’, staged at London’s Riverside Studios. Matt has recently completed co-writing the manual for Flying Pig Systems WholeHog I11, the worldwide market-leading lighting console, for the operation of automated lighting systems. Other theatre productions, as an independent designer, have been at ENO studio, Battersea Arts Centre, Lyric Hammersmith, Cockpit, Lillian Bayliss and Bridewell theatres. At Drama Centre London, for Equation Productions, he has been the resident lighting co-ordinator.
