As
Dulwich Lighting’s Technical Director, James not only
manages the technical components of a project he also ensures
that the company’s IT infrastructure operates effectively.
James trained for a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and attained
further post-graduate studies at LAMDA. He has many years
of production expertise in the entertainment profession,
working for companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company,
Birmingham Repertory Theatre and the Royal Court. Dulwich
Lighting’s benefits from his expertise of surveying,
detailed 2D & 3D CAD modelling, knowledge of manufacturing,
materials and construction and effective project management.

Since
joining, James has been integral to a number of prestigious
projects including: Virgin Atlantic Airways Upper Class
lighting J2000 programme for the A340 and 747 aircrafts,
the Airbus A380 front end mock-up; the Theatro Technis Refurbishment
Lottery Project; Project Managing Limerick’s Millennium
‘The River of Light Show’. His technical work
has also made site-specific mock-ups such as Nike’s
Oxford Circus Window Illumination, L’Oréal
Technical Headquarters and Central Milton Keynes’
High Level Shopping Mall Lighting. James speaks both fluent
French and German. |
